Last updated August 2026. Describes what Xanthos collects and why.
Creating an account stores the name, email address and password you supply (the password is hashed, never stored in plain text). Addresses you analyse and the reports produced from them are stored against your account so you can return to them. If you write to us through the contact form, we keep the name, email and message you send.
Account and address data is used to run the analysis you asked for, save your history, and enforce your plan's usage allowance. We don't use your saved addresses or reports to build a profile for advertising, and we don't sell personal data.
Analyses may be sent to third-party language-model providers to generate the written assessment — the address and the relevant public zoning/demographic context are included in that request, not your account credentials. We also use standard infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) to run the service. None of these parties are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
Xanthos uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser local storage to remember lightweight preferences (like light/dark mode). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Account data and saved reports are kept for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
You can review and update your profile information from your account settings at any time. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, write to xanthoslykia.ca — we'll respond directly.
Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted in transit, and access to production data is limited to what's needed to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee against every possible incident, but we treat account and report data as sensitive by default.
We may update this notice as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
